Yesterday, Steven, my husband came home a little stressed out during lunch time. He wasn't sure when exactly to tell his manager and boss about him quitting to return to school. They are very busy right now and he didn't want to let them down or make them lose the jobs they're working on. As he left to go back to work, Steven Jr. and I prayed for daddy to be guided by the spirit on what to do and what to say; than I retired by myself to have another prayer, when I finished, my little boy, Steven, was right next to me, with his head down, arms folded and praying with me, again. I was so overjoyed to see him talk to Heavenly Father and know the importance and power of prayer!
Later during the day, He went to his bedside, knelt down and started speaking with his head down and hands held together, once again praying! When he finished he said, "AMEN" My sister Lea and I watched me with Awe at my little boy, how small and little he is, yet understands so much about how Heavenly Father can help Daddy.
I am so proud of my little boy and grateful to have him teach me daily. There is something so sweet with little children, that I think their Spirit is so strong that they can feel the Presence of the Lord so much closer than we can comprehend. They can understand more than we think; watching my son learn each day and teach me to be more holy and worthy to be a mom and an example has been one of the greatest blessings of "Motherhood." I am so proud of my little guy!!!!

Steven on Facebook!
December 02,2009
Steven, my husband, couldn't resist Facebook anymore, so he joined! Yeah, I couldn't believe it either, especially after watching me daily feed my addiction. So he is getting in touch with his friends and family a lot better. This is what he last wrote about our son, thought is was cute to share with everyone. Enjoy!
Steven Beesley: 'I had a crazy experience last night. My son is getting over a cold and he got mad about something to the point that he made himself throw up. I got upset and put him in the kitchen and began to remove his sweater now filled with throw up and as I took it off I realized he had his "My Dad is my Hero shirt" on. Talk about a guilt trip, I felt like a horrible father.'

My Citizenship
November 18, 2009
It's been almost three weeks since I went to my "Oath of Alligence." That is after you've met all the requirements and presented all legal papers needed to become a Citizen of the United States, the government/Immigration sends you the acceptance letter, and final approval to an Oath of Allegiance, to give up all your rights from your birth country and officially become a US Citizen.
It was a beautiful experience to see all my family there to support me. It wasn't easy as it requires a lot of steps to get to this point, but it was definitely worth it and I learned so much, I never knew. Part it, during the process, you had to study all Civics and the History of the United States; I was grateful for this, even thought I was raised here and attended School here in the United State, I don't think I learned enough. During my preparation, I learned how the System was formed, and more than that, I learned that Heavenly Father has His Hands in everything and in His Own due time, He does fulfill his promises.
It amazed me, how people say there is no GOD, but our System is based on GOD'S Principles and I know that the Founding Fathers were inspired by GOD to form our Government. I am grateful to have such a Loving Heavenly Father and for teaching me valuable lessons each day that strengthens my Testimony!
I hope I can always remember this beautiful time, as a big change in my life for good and always remember GOD is mindful of all His Children. We just need to be patient and Trust in him, by doing all that we can by ourselves first and ask for his help, when we can't do it anymore! HE does listen to us and HE does Love us all!!!!

I Nephi was born with goodly parents.....
December 07, 2009
Last night during family prayer( we always pray in Steven Jr. room) so he knows it's bed time. We tuck him in and than Steven and I kneel down to pray next to his bed. Usually Steven Jr. gets out of his bed and jumps all over or plays around during prayer, but last night, he taught us, that all our effort of being good example paid off. He came down and knelt next to us to pray! Best of all, he was so proud of himself too! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful little boy that teaches us so much.
It reminded me of Nephi from the Scriptures, that reads, " I Nephi was born of goodly parents..." I am grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that teaches us to be goodly parents, to help our little ones to Follow Jesus Christ and be great Instruments in his hands. I hope that I am worthy each day to listen to the Promptings of the spirit to better teach my children, so they can too grow up one day and say, "I was born of goodly parents and was taught in the ways of the LORD!"

The Zuchini Cake
Last Sunday my mom gave us a Zuchini Cake she received from a friend. Steven Antonio loved it and kept asking for more each day, I gave him a little bit each day, but by Tuesday it was all gone. I threw away the box it came in, well, I guess he didn't have enough, because as I was getting ready on Wednesday, I didn't hear him anywhere, so I go and check all over, when I find him standing next the kitchen trash. He had dugged through the trash to find the Zuchini Cake b3ox and was holding it in one hand, while the other grabbing the leftover pieces and licking it. Disgusting! Earlier that morning, I had thrown a dirty diaper, yah, I know, that still didn't stop him from digging. He is such a funny little dude, I love watching him each day, wondering what will be his next adventure!!!!

OCTOBER
The Month of October really kept us busy, celebrating my Two Stevens' Birthdays with my In-laws here in Cali, to spending time at Kaiser when our little boy got super sick that lasted a whole week, to studying for my Citizenship Test, which I passed on the 16th, Wow, and all this happened only half way through the month! The rest of the month we spent waking up early from our little boy cry's of leg pain to getting him immunized and trick or treating with the family at the end of the month!
October 2nd: Our busiest day ever, early that morning we woke up and met my family at the Hoag Health Center for the Ultrasound of our new baby and the Result.....IT"S A BOY!!!!!!!!! I was hoping for a little girl this time, but I am excited to have another little boy so close to Steven's age so they can both enjoy wrestling eachother. Plus, it's a gift for big Steven, he's way excited for another boy, especially excited for Steven Antonio, to have the "brother" Big Steven never had.
Upon finishing the Ultrasound, we grabbed a quick bite and off we went to LAX( Los Angeles Airport) to pick up my Father-in-Law; Steven Antonio was super excited to see "papa" sitting next to him. We hit traffic way bad due to an accident and made it here just in time to let my Mother-in-law and Sisters-in-law in our house. They rested while I got everything ready to go the the Party. We carried out everything and people started showing up right as I arrived to the Park. We are so blessed to have wonderful Friends and Family, they all helped out decorate and get things ready. As soon as Steven showed up with his family, we started the Party, With yummy Carne Asada ( name used in spanish for Grilled Flat Meat). We had plenty of food and after we ate, we had wonderful brother, Jason Jensen, from my mom's Ward, to help us out with the Pinata. Both Steven and Bentley loved hitting at the Pinata, along with all the other kids we had invited. WE all had a great time talking, eating and playing! Thanks for all those that came to the Party and for supporting us. Steven really enjoyed the visit from all his family, it was the best present he had, even receiving the Wii,was nothing compared the great sacrifice his family made to come. Thank You for making this Birthday super special. Steven Antonio loved it as well! I enjoyed seeing all you guys! We love you!!!!
Saturday, October 3rd: Conference weekend, we enjoyed watching the morning session with our little family, with Steven jumping on top of us. Later around noon we met with my In-Laws at the Swapmeet (Flee Market) held at the Cypress College, which is only a couple blocks away. Everyone enjoyed themselves waling around and imagining what things to buy for Xmas. Later, we left to go the Sunset Beach, about 10 miles away from our appartment. I stayed our of the water since it was super cold for me and I am already huge pregnant. The rest of the gang went on having fun boogie boarding in the water. Steven loved teaching his sisters, Kristie, Stephanie and Paul were in for about 3 hrs, the entire time we were there. Emily was watching them have so much fun and couldn't resist the fun anymore so she and her mom decided to try it our, they had fun! Wyatt was such a good baby, he slept the entire time we were there, and woke up just in time before we left, I was able to hold him, he is such a cute little guy! So Precious and handsome!!!!
October 5-: We had a good day, but around noon Steven Antonio didn't feel like doing much and by the time dinner came he didn't want to eat anything, and he loves eating with us at the table. I didn't pay much attention, but Tuesday morning he woke up very fuzzy, later had a Temperature of up to 100 degrees and that night didn't let us sleep because before bedtime he started vomiting, his temperature went up high and tried to eat and drink but as soon as he ate or drank he started vomiting again. He kept it like this for the next couple of days so we decided by Thursday evening to take him to the Dr. We waited for over 4 hrs before we could see the Dr. there were a lot of sick patients at the Kaiser Urgent Care, so we had to wait this long, hearing our little boy scream because he was in so much pain and no energy at all. We were about to come home when the Dr. finally saw us, he decided to give him and IV because of the loss of fluids for the past couple of days, the nurses tried and could not do it because his veins were so small, so after a couple of tries we decided to just bring him home and take him back if he didn't show any signs of getting better. He slept a little better that night, exausted form the long wait at Kaiser. The next morning my Sister Lea and I took him back, because the Dr. wanted to check up on him, again the nurses gave him a catheter for urine test, to see if he had any infection, that was the worst thing a mother can experience with her baby, watching as the nurses poked him. They said it didn't hurt but just by the death scream I heard coming from him and he lay there defenseless, I couldn't do it anymore. The nurses insisted on trying again for the Iv, after the Catheter, I agreed, worst mistake ever, because again it was just turture for the baby, it wouln't go through again, so I finally spoke up, because by this time, my little boy, had fought them all with all the strength he had and I told them I wanted to continue giving him water and try the Pedialyte, first. The Dr. finally agreed with me and I felt better and comforted knwing that everything was going to be okay, and sure enough, by the end of the day, Steven started showing some signs of feeling better. By Saturday he started eating a little, Sunday came and he was up to going to church, we only took him to Sacrament and my husband drove us home after Sacrament and returned to fulfill his calling as a Young Men Counselor. Steven Started asking for food, water and watching "Cars" as I sat with him on the couch. By Monday, he was back to normal as if he was never sick, we were so excited to see him laugh again and grateful for this trial, makes us love our little boy even more. Grandma Osborn ("Gama" as Little Steven likes to call her)was finally able to take him out for his Birthday as she had scheduled earlier with us the previous Wednesday on his actual Birthday. Both were excited, one week late but they both enjoyed! I am so grateful for my family, a wonderful husband that treats me like a queen and a wonderful son that makes my day so fun and filled with joy!!!!!!
Half way through the month, I was able to get My citizen Interview, and passes, after all the hard work of studying daily about Civics. I am grateful to have this opportunity to be able to study about our Country, It really made me appreciate our Founding Fathers and how they listened to the Lord. That our Country is really led by Him! It made me think of King Mosiah and all the other Prophets that warned the people about how having a king would destroy them. Our Country was based almost by those same principles. Example: Our Founding Fathers created the Amendments that states the laws of Government and how a President can rule, chosen by the People. It is fascinating to study. I can't quite explain the feelings that bring to my heart, as I have studied, but I recommend you to read it so that you may understand what I mean. I am so excited, this November I get to go to "The Oath Ceremony" that is where you give allegiance to the United States and give up all your Rights from your Birth Country. I can't wait!
Ok. I am almost finished, there is much more to say, but It has already been to long in writing so I'll spare you from some of the boring things this month. The end of the Month, the 31, was awesome, we had a wonderful dinner with the 6Th Ward, my mother's ward which was so nice having the whole fam. there to celebrate Halloween together. Steven Antonio couldn't wait to head over to "Gama" Osborn's house for Trick or Treating, that kid will do anything for Candy, just like his daddy! It was funny, earlier during the day when we put on his Lion Costume, he screamed, not just any Scream, I am talking, death Scream, but as soon as we told him what was going on, that if he put on his costume he would "lots of candy" he dropped everything, raised his arms up ready to put on his costume and go! That is the Key, "candy!" He loved going door to door trick or treating and Grandma Osborn sure enjoyed herself watching Steven so happy Trick or Treating! Having a two year is so much fun and we can't wait to see him next year on Halloween!

Steven Antonio and the New Baby
Our little boy is so funny, everyday we try to prepare him for his new sibbling but as soon as we mention "baby" he quickly turns off on us. Yesterday I asked him if he is excited to be an older brother to his new baby brother or sister that will be arriving soon! He quickly answered "NO!" and added that my tummy looked like a "BALL." He is the best little boy ever and it only takes a while for little children to get used on "not being the only child", so we are hoping it won't last long before he starts getting excited on being an older brother. We'll see.
